POSITION: Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time Probationary PositionQUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certified as Speech Language Pathologist; familiarity with current research, methodology and learning standards in speech therapy. Experience working with students with cerebral palsy, developmental verbal apraxia, hearing impairments, stuttering and autism spectrum disorders preferred. Should be familiar with augmentative communication devices, amplification devices and basic sign. REPORTS TO: Director of Special EducationPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver speech and language therapy to students with varying abilities, including classified students, self-contained students, integrated students, and general education students. This would include CSE K-2 Speech Improvement students.
