POSITION: English Teacher QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a NYS teacher certification in a 7-12 or K-12 subject area, or hold a CTE certification or hold or be eligible for a transitional certification in subject areas appropriate for this position. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for growing a media program that focuses on the writing, planning, communication and presentation of student created material. Students would be engaged in courses that focus on literature in games, media in fiction and non-fiction, modern communication and journalism, public speaking and presentation as well as writing for broadcasting.
