The Center for Spectrum Services, a New York State-approved, not-for-profit day school, is seeking a full-time, 12-month Education Program Department Head to join our team at our Kingston, NY location. We provide specialized educational services to students ages 3-12 with a focus on supporting children on the autism spectrum.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Supervise and train department staff, including special educators, teaching assistants, and substitute aides.- Develop, implement, and oversee class and department curriculum, strategies, and materials.- Manage educational documentation, including quarterly reports and annual reviews.- Schedule and facilitate team meetings.-Facilitate CSE meetings.- Oversee and participate in classroom and department scheduling.
