Certified School PsychologistSeptember OpeningWe are seeking a Certified School Psychologist to work in a program for students with Autism beginning September 5, 2022.Center for Spectrum Services is a model of professionals using applied behavior analytic instructional technique. Our dedication to our students’ success has been recognized by New York State Education Department as a school with effective practicesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:§ Consult with educational staff regarding learning and behavioral strategies§ Coordinate the writing, implementation and review of behavioral interventions analysis§ Conduct and coordinate functional behavior§ Observe and participate in classroom activities§ Evaluate preschool and school age students as part of a transdisciplinary evaluations and screenings§ Prepare, participate and present in Annual Review process§ Provide mandated counseling for students§ Coordinate family support as needed This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with students, coworkers, families and school district personnel.
