Responsibilities include identifying the needs of students, developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student, and setting learning goals to ensure each student's activities and lessons are planned according to their abilities.Qualifications:NY State Teacher of the Deaf Certification and/or NY State Special Education Teacher Certification.Experience working with special needs students, particularly deaf and hard of hearing students.Knowledge of ASL is preferred.
