Cleary School is a private, state supported school with locations in Nesconset and East Islip, NY. We have served the Deaf community of Long Island since 1925 by providing access to language, communication, and learning for students from birth to 21 years of age.We are accepting applications for full-time teaching assistant positions in all program areas for the 2022-23 School Year.Responsibilities:Provide instructional and clerical support for classroom teachers.Support and assist children in learning class material.Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, and hallways, or on field trips.Preferred Qualifications:NYS teaching assistant certification.Knowledge of American Sign Language is highly desirable.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourSalary is commiserate with experience.
