Corinth Central School District is looking for friendly, dedicated Volleyball Coaching Staff. We currently have openings for a JV Coach, Modified Coach and Varsity Assistant. In each of these positions, the ideal candidate will work closely with athletes to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and promote a positive sportsmanship environment. A genuine love for the game will be contagious as you lead practices, organize drills, and share valuable strategies to enhance performance on the court. As a key figure in our volleyball program, you will play an instrumental role in shaping not only the players' technical skills but also their confidence and overall enjoyment of the sport. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and help nurture the next generation of volleyball players, we’d love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesConduct regular volleyball practices focusing on skill development and teamwork.Organize and oversee participation in volleyball matches and tournaments.Provide feedback and coaching to players for skill improvement and growth.Encourage a positive and inclusive team environment where all players feel valued.Monitor and assess player performance and provide constructive criticism.Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff.RequirementsMust have or be willing to obtain a NYS Coaching certificate.Previous experience as a volleyball coach or player.Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with athletes.Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential.Commitment to creating a supportive and fun team atmosphere.Strong organizational skills for managing practices and schedules.
