A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy has a rare opportunity for a Social Worker to join our hard-working staff. As a Social Worker with A Child's Place you will be providing social work services to families to facilitate the student's progress towards individual goals and individual counseling to students as directed by their IEP or ISPF. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in communication, both written and verbal. You will work to develop and maintain relationships with community partners to assist families in need. You must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team. Position may be eligible for sign on bonus! Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work. Must have and maintain valid LMSW or LCSW New York State licensure or temporary permit. Experience: 2 to 4 years related experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience working with low income families and young children with special needs would be helpful. Must have reliable transportation and a valid New York State Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by our company's liability insurance policy.
