Assistant Childcare Manager needed for A Child's Place; Troy location.If you enjoy working with children ages 6 weeks to age 5, are caring and flexible, please apply!Position may be eligible for sign on bonus! Responsibilities: Apply and promote child development practices.Create a nurturing environment for all children.Communicate with staff in a positive and professional manner.Communicate with parents in a positive and professional manner.Assure proper attendance and accountability of children on all fire drills, field trips and on the playground. Organize licensing requirements and staff trainings.Mentor new staff. Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.Requirements: Bachelor or Associates degree in early childhood education or childhood development and experience preferred. Experience working with special needs children preferred. Ability to get to work on time.
