The Cooperstown Central School District has an opening Food Service Helper to work full-time, 10-month schedule, offering $19.17 per hour plus benefits, per the Service Unit Contract. Successful candidates must be available Monday through Friday when school is in session. In this role you will be involved in the preparation and serving of food on a moderately large scale and the cleaning of kitchen equipment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor or his/her designee. Skills required include; but are not limited to, elementary knowledge of the proper methods of serving food and of the care of tableware, glassware, silver, and kitchen appliances; ability to follow oral and written directions; and, good physical condition. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma. Certification not required.
