Description: The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Special Education to provide leadership and direction in all aspects of Special Education at CCSD. This position includes Chairperson duties for Committees on Special Education, supervision, and evaluation of special education teachers, and related service providers (including school psychologist, speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and I.E.P. Aides).The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspiring leader who can contribute to a strong educational community for students. This 12-month, full time position offers a salary commensurate with experience and benefits. This confidential position requires computer knowledge, organization skills, attention to detail and exceptional quality of work is critical.
