The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a dynamic and innovative candidate for Spanish teacher. Cooperstown is a dynamic neighborhood school that spans grades K-12 with an approximate enrollment of 800 students in our two buildings. The District is expanding our foreign language department by increasing from a part-time to a full-time position. In addition to providing instruction in our Jr./Sr. High School (7-12) we plan to begin offering Spanish instruction in the elementary school in the 24-25 school year. We offer rich and varied educational programs and have an active, supportive parent body. The successful candidate will have an expansive knowledge of Spanish pedagogy and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with students and faculty whilst maintaining a welcoming and engaging learning space to direct, enhance, and support the learning process.
