School Counselor/Guidance Counselor or School Psychologist The Clifton-Fine Central School District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor, Guidance Counselor, or School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with students, families, and staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Located on the western side of the Adirondacks and serving as the gateway to the Five Ponds Wilderness Area, Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, close-knit community committed to providing students with personalized support to help them succeed in school and beyond.Responsibilities:Provide academic, career, and personal counseling services to students.Support students' social-emotional well-being through individual and group counseling.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for student success.Develop and implement preventative programs that promote mental health, emotional resilience, and positive behavior.Assist with crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations.Qualifications:For School Counselor/Guidance Counselor: New York State Certification in School Counseling (K-12) or eligibility for certification.For School Psychologist: New York State Certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility for certification.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.Experience with student behavior interventions, social-emotional learning, and mental health support is preferred.What We Offer:A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
