School Nurse – Clifton-Fine Central School DistrictThe Clifton-Fine Central School District is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care, promote a healthy school environment, and collaborate with staff, students, and families to ensure students' medical needs are met.Located on the western side of the Adirondacks and serving as the gateway to the Five Ponds Wilderness Area, Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, close-knit community committed to the health and safety of our students.Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, illness assessment, and medication administration.Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies.Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations.Conduct health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings.Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with emergency services as needed.Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.Ensure compliance with immunization and health exam requirements for students.Qualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State requiredCPR and First Aid certification required.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.What We Offer:A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
