The Clifton-Fine Central School District seeks an energetic leader to fill the position of Vice(Assistant) Principal/Athletic Director.Located in the western side of the Adirondacks and the gateway to the 5 Pond Wilderness Track,Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, tight knit school that offers “big school”opportunities for students. The role of Vice-Principal/Athletic Director requires a visible,collaborative leader who will continue to support and foster the positive school climate anddistrict initiatives. Serves as an instructional leader and promotes teamwork between teachers, staff, andstudents Promotes and administers the Clifton-Fine Eagles athletic program Serves as Principal in the absence of Principal Guides discipline-related matters in accordance with the student code of conduct Encourages high standards by fostering programs that support a positive school climatesuch as student of month or restorative practice as well as one of the team leaders of ouractive Pupil Personnel Services Team Assists in the evaluation of staff and faculty Collaborates with the Principal on testing procedures including Regents exams and/ordiagnostic assessments Assists in hiring of staffCertification: School Building Leader School District Administrator Candidates in an Administrative track of coursework may be considered, includingconsideration of paid Administrative Internship work..Term: 10 Month, 20 Days July/August.Salary: Starting Salary Range $75,000-$83,000/yr (based on experience) Excellent health and retirement benefits Tenured track positionApplication Deadline: October 25, 2023 or until filled.
