Licensed Teaching Assistant (LTA)Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Licensed Teaching Assistant (LTA). The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist the teaching in delivering instruction, and contribute to a positive learning environment.Responsibilities include:Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.Assist with classroom management and ensure student engagement.Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators.Prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons.Help with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and grading.Qualifications: Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS LTA certification.Compensation: The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $19,921-$25,000, based on experience, plus contractual benefits.Deadline: Position starting as soon as possible.Open until filled.
