7-12 Business TeacherCharlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Business Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business topics, including entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and economics, as well as having a passion for teaching and supporting students. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position, with time being split evenly between Charlotte Valley and a neighboring school district. Responsibilities include:• Planning and delivering effective and engaging business lessons• Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students• Assessing and monitoring student progress• Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and their families • Creating an inclusive classroom environment • Managing classroom behavior and enforcing school policies• Effectively collaborating with colleagues • Providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom• Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualifications: Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in Business and Marketing or similar.Compensation: The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $50,444 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits. Deadline: Open until filled.Position starting September 2, 2025.
