Elementary TeacherCharlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing strong foundational skills and have a passion for educating young students. Possible VacanciesPre-KindergartenGrade 2Responsibilities include:Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessonsAdapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning stylesAssessing and monitoring student progressProviding timely and constructive feedback to students and their familiesCreating an inclusive classroom environmentManaging classroom behavior and enforcing school policiesEffectively collaborating with colleaguesProviding opportunities to engage students outside of the classroomKeeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualificationsCandidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in Childhood Education 1-6 or Early Childhood Education B-2. CompensationThe successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $48,724 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits. Interview ProcessAll candidates will engage in an initial interview with the school Principal, an interview with a school team, and a final round interview with the Superintendent.
