The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support students' academic, emotional, and social growth.Key responsibilities:• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results.• Provide individual and group counseling to students.• Develop and implement intervention strategies.• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ educational and emotional needs.• Maintain detailed and accurate records of services provided.• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.Expected Attributes:• Analytical and problem-solving skills• Communication and teamwork skills• Empathy and compassionMinimum Qualifications:• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in School Psychology• New York State Certification in School Psychology (provisional or permanent certification will be considered)Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis through December 31, 2024.
