Cazenovia Central School is looking for someone with the following characteristics to be the next Transportation Supervisor for the district.Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and supervisory skills with a bias toward safety are essential.Willingness to fill in staffing gaps where/when needed. Strong managerial and personnel oversight skills.Geographic/topographic knowledge of the surrounding area is strongly preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience is requiredPossession of a current Commercial Driver's License is requiredArranges bus routes for the school year with appropriate time schedules; Supervises service, maintenance and repair of all school district vehicles; Writes specifications for all new vehicles and equipment; Plans, coordinates and administers a training program for new drivers; Assigns bus drivers to regular routes and extracurricular trips.Must function as a forward-facing representative of the school district to the community. Qualified to drive a school bus in NYS. General knowledge of NYS DMV regulations for school districts.If you are interested please apply via OLAS.
