Cazenovia Central School is seeking candidates for a High School Social Studies teaching position. Successful candidates must have a valid and current NYS Teaching Certification for Secondary Social Studies as well as: High-quality classroom management skills and experience with Restorative Practices.Use consistent school-wide practices and a variety of instructional methods to engage students in the classroom, with an emphasis on differentiated instruction.Implement a standards-based curriculum and address skills aligned to NYS and NGLS standards.Conduct and utilize ongoing assessments of student achievement, using both formative and summative assessments.Use technology tools for instruction, planning, communication, and ensure student engagement.Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues, staff, parents/guardians.Interested candidates should apply through OLAS.
