The Head Varsity Boys Spring Track & Field Coach will lead the Byram Hills High School boys track & field program, overseeing all aspects of training, event preparation, and team management. The coach will focus on developing athletes across a variety of events while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a culture of hard work and improvement.Responsibilities include planning and conducting practices, coordinating meet lineups and entries, managing assistant coaches, and maintaining communication with athletes, families, and the athletic department. The coach will also ensure compliance with school, league, and NYSPHSAA regulations while fostering a safe and positive environment for all student-athletes.Candidates should have strong knowledge of track & field techniques, rules, and event-specific training methods. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Prior coaching experience, particularly at the varsity or competitive level, is preferred.
