MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate development, refinement, and execution of technology strategic planning in support of school districts educational strategic and operational goalsCollaborate with district administrators to help make informed decisions related to technology and associated professional learning opportunities for district staffCoordinate a broad range of technology-based resources, maximizing the availability of their useLead cross-functional advisory committees that support adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school businessBuild awareness in district of available SCRIC and BOCES services and their role in support of technology in schoolsAssist school districts with short and long-range technology budget planning and identify cost optimization opportunitiesRegularly present information to district staff in documents and presentationsAdvise SCRIC management teams to guide decisions and/or make informed service adjustmentsREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A Master’s degree and appropriate NYS certification as a School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL)Prior teaching and/or administrative experience (preferred)Experience with instructional technology in the classroomStrong interpersonal and communication skills
