POSITION DESCRIPTION:Cultivates a healthy organizational culture throughout the RIC. Is honest and empathetic.An innovative thinker who builds strong teams.Leads regional planning and governance related to RIC services (RTAG)Interacts with school superintendents and District Superintendents in BT, DCMO, and ONC BOCESActively participates in and contributes to statewide RIC and NYSED initiatives.Provides relevant briefings and information directly to the BT BOCES CEO/SuperintendentCollaborates with colleagues throughout the BOCES organization. Is willing to learn and adapt or change when needed.Develops and manages budgets, unit costs methodologies, and service descriptions.A well-rounded background as a leader in K-12 education and IT.Regularly attends BOCES BOE meetings and provides updates/presentations as needed.A proven track record of collaboration, strong relationships and leading multiple people, projects, and functions.All BOCES leaders are expected to assume additional responsibilities when assignedREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Certification in School District Administration (SDL, SDA, SDBL) with two (2) years related supervisory experience in administration, including technical services management experience, including budget development and control; ORMaster’s degree or higher in business administration, information technology, or closely related field and 2 years of related supervisory experience in business administration which included budget management, personnel management, or strategic planning; ORBachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, information technology, or closely related field and 4 years of related supervisory experience as listed above.In-depth knowledge of the operations of a BOCES system is strongly preferred.Apply on OLAS
