Our ideal candidate is service-oriented and collaborative with experience in school business and finance as well as leadership and supervision for a team. Highlights of the Director of Business Operations - BOCES CBO position responsibilities include:Coordinates, attends, and/or presents at meetings with school district leadership teams as requested;Serves as a resource and advisor to the CBO team members and school district leadership teams;Attends and/or presents at Board of Education meetings as requested;Supervises and directs the CBO staff and is responsible for all personnel matters related to the CBO staff;Oversees, offers guidance to, and is responsible for the CBO services provided to participating school districts;Ability to build collaborative relationships with CBO team members and school district leadership teams and the Board of Education;Continue to cultivate a healthy culture and improve the employee experience at the CBO;All BOCES leaders are expected to assume additional responsibilities when assigned.Job QualificationsREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS certification in School District Business Leader (SDBL) with three (3) years of experience working within the field of school district finance; orMeeting the minimum qualifications as outlined in the Broome County Civil Service job specification at www.gobroomecounty.com/personnel/specs
