The Bay Shore Union Free School District, and equal opportunity employer, is seeking exceptional candidates to work in our ABA 8:1:1 classrooms.ABA paraprofessionals must love working with children who have significant developmental needs, as well as be flexible, responsive, and excited to be part of an educational team. Previous experience working in a developmental special education class is preferred, however not required. All paraprofessionals new to our district will be provided with appropriate training and professional development to be successful and valued members of our special education team. Individuals with a strong interest in becoming special education teachers, or teacher assistants would benefit greatly from employment in this program while working towards their degree.*Please note these vacancies are for paraprofessionals, not teacher assistants, as indicated in the job heading.
