BRENTWOOD UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT BRENTWOOD, NY 11717 The Brentwood Union Free School District, New York’s largest suburban school district, announces the following vacancy for an articulate, analytical, dedicated, progressive, and creative educations leader: SWD Mathematics 7-12 Teacher Qualifications: Students with Disabilities 7-12 NYS Mathematics 7-12 Certification TESOL certification preferred Responsibilities: Serves as IEP case manager for assigned students, ensuring timely development, implementation, progress monitoring, and annual review of IEPs in accordance with federal, state, and district regulations. Designs and delivers specially designed instruction that is aligned with IEP goals, grade-level standards, and students’ unique learning needs, including accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology as appropriate. Ensure your students achieve learning outcomes in the subject of mathematics by instructing students in a clear, concise and fun way, and regularly preparing lesson plans that are engaging and incorporate the curriculum.
