1 YEAR LEAVE REPLACEMENT ELEMENTARY TEACHER (GENERAL EDUCATION) Anticipated Placement : Glenham Elementary Requirements : Valid NYS Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required: NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment; Developmental Stages of Early Education; Effective, student centered classroom management strategies; Culturally responsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms; Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning; Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress; Effective strategies for student and family engagement; Must have knowledge and ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position. Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills required. Compensation per BTA Contract
