Requirements: Valid NYS Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1 – 6);Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required:NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment;Developmental Stages of Early Education;Effective, student centered classroom management strategies;Culturally responsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms;Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;Effective strategies for student and family engagement;Must have knowledge and the ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position;Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills required.
