Beacon High School anticipates an opening for a probationary (tenure-track) Special Education teacherposition, to begin at the start of the 2025-26 school year.Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required:Development and implementation of IEPs tailored to students’ unique needs;Effective, student-centered classroom management strategies;Culturally responsive instructional practices for secondary classrooms;Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;Effective strategies for student and family engagement;Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, required.Special Education and 7-12 English certification required.Compensation per BTA Contract
