Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School-Based I/DD Program (Brookville, NY) Location: Brookville, NY (Nassau County / Long Island) Full Time: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4:00pm (35 hours weekly) 12 Month School Program Salary Range: $80k – 95k /Yr. based upon experience and credentials Join our team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and support school-age and/or preschool children with intellectual and other disabilities (I/DD) by providing behavior assessment, intervention, and staff training within a collaborative, school-based environment focused on student growth and positive outcomes. At Brookville Center for Children's Services, we provide comprehensive services for children 3-21 years of age with intellectual and other disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and autism. Our mission is to educate and support children of all abilities. Board Certified Behavior Analysts provide day-to-day behavioral supervision and classroom support, including the implementation of Positive Behavior Supports, Behavior Intervention Plans, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies. The BCBA trains and supervises teachers, teacher assistants, and BCBA candidates; conducts assessments such as FBAs; analyzes behavior data; supports IEP development using tools such as ABLLS and VB-MAPP; delivers mandated Behavior Intervention Services; and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, families, and outside providers to ensure consistent, safe, and effective supports across the school environment. We require: M.A. or M.S. in either Psychology or Special Education Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) preferred Knowledge of assessment and treatment through Applied Behavior Analysis teaching techniques in an education and/or residential setting Knowledge of ICF regulations Physical Demands/Work Environment: Mobility: Ability to move about the school campus and community settings, including classrooms, offices, and vocational sites., including standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Physical: May occasionally be required to lift and carry instructional materials or equipment (up to 25 lbs), ability to assist students with mobility needs if required. Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers for writing, typing, and handling educational devices, instructional materials, assistive technology and computers. Visual and auditory ability: Must possess sufficient vision and hearing to monitor student activities, observe student performance and respond to needs including safety in a timely manner.
