We offer infant and toddler day care, integrated preschool and self-contained pre-school special education classes with an option of extended care should the family desire. Home and community based services are also available. Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Perform speech-language evaluations and conduct therapy sessions which are appropriate to the developmental level of the assigned student. Establish and maintain appropriate professional relationships with children, their families and staff. Fulfill record keeping and statistical requirements accurately and in a timely manner. May be required to attend evening meetings.Qualifications:Qualifications: Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of speech-language disorders as normally acquired through completion of a Master degree in speech-language pathology Must possess a Master degree in speech-language pathology and certification by the New York State Department of Education as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Experience in PROMPT and early childhood special needs population assessment and treatment
