The Ardsley UFSK is seeking reliable School Bus Drivers. Responsibilities include operating a school bus on a regular schedule following a designated route. Other duties include checking the operating condition of the bus which includes maintaining records of mileage and time. Duties also include informing children about safety practices and maintaining orderly conduct of children on the bus. The candidate must possess a good knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations and ability to operate a bus under difficult driving and road conditions. The ability to get along well with children is an essential part of the job.Must posses a CDL license (C or B) with the P & S endorsement. Must be at least 21 years of age and 1 year of school bus driving experience is preferred. Guaranteed 27.5 hours per week. Salary depends on experience ($22.00-$29.00/hour). Paid snow days, holidays, and the NYS Retirement System is offered.
