Andes Central School District Title: Band Teacher, Music, Fine and Performing Arts Andes CSD, a small rural district in Delaware County, is seeking a music/band teacher to teach the general music and band program for students in grades Pre-K to 12. Responsibilities include: Plan and organize balanced instruction and teach band and general music, prepare materials and equipment necessary for lessons, develop an appreciation for music and performance music, work well with parents and community members in regard to performing art needs, foster positive relationships between students, staff, and community members to encourage creativity, collaboration, presence and strength in all performances. Candidates must provide subject matter competency in music, or proof of music major through transcripts.
