Amagansett School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that promotes the physical, social, and emotional well-being of all students.Responsibilities:- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective physical education lessons that align with state standards and district curriculum.- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate in physical activities.- Promote healthy lifestyles and lifelong fitness through a variety of activities and sports.- Teach students about the benefits of physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their goals.- Organize and supervise school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with other subjects and school initiatives.- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities and comply with school policies and procedures.**Amagansett School is an equal opportunity employer.
