The Amagansett School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to serve as a Kindergarten Teacher for a leave replacement during the 2024-25 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where young children can develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.Key Responsibilities:Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the district's curriculum and kindergarten learning objectives.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's participation, curiosity, and engagement in learning.Assess students' progress and maintain accurate records of their academic, social, and emotional growth.Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' holistic development and address individual learning needs.Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians through regular updates, conferences, and newsletters.Uphold professional standards and ethical practices as outlined by the Amagansett School District and the teaching profession.**Amagansett School is an equal opportunity employer.
