We blend early childhood education with essential therapeutic supports — including occupational, speech, and physical therapy, as well as family services — to help each child reach their fullest potential in a caring and collaborative setting.We’re currently inviting a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT), licensed in New York State, to join our experienced multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, onsite position — no travel required — aligned with a 45-week academic calendar, including summer session (Extended School Year) programming.ScheduleMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM – 3:00 PMWednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PMWhat You’ll DoAs an Occupational Therapist at ACDS Pelham, you’ll work directly with preschool-aged children presenting a wide range of developmental challenges. Through evidence-based techniques such as sensory-motor activities, visual-motor development, and adaptive tools, you will help children strengthen critical daily living and motor skills in areas such as:Fine and gross motor functionVisual-perceptual integrationSelf-care and independent routinesYou will also collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), coordinate with fellow professionals, and empower families through shared goals and communication.Core ResponsibilitiesDeliver OT services in accordance with each child’s IEPCreate and adjust treatment plans based on individualized needsDocument sessions, progress updates, and annual reports accurately and promptlyWork in close partnership with educators, speech and physical therapists, psychologists, and familiesParticipate in team meetings and multidisciplinary reviewsFollow all professional, ethical, and state regulatory standardsQualifications We ValueCurrent NYS Occupational Therapist licenseMaster’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programNPI registrationPediatric background preferred — we also welcome strong new graduates with relevant trainingA team-oriented mindset and genuine passion for early childhood developmentWhy Choose ACDS Pelham?At ACDS Pelham, you won’t just take a job — you’ll join a purpose-driven community.
