ACDS Pelham – 575 Fowler Ave, Pelham, NY 10803 Full-time Social Worker – NYS LCSW The ACDS Westchester schools in Scarsdale and Pelham provide preschool special education programs consisting of 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 classes. The ACDS school in Pelham is seeking New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide Counseling and Parent Training services to our preschool community as well as assisting with program support needs and outreach. As part of the ACDS team this individual will reliably facilitate and model interventions, provide suggestions and feedback to classroom and clinical staff and parents. They will conduct initial, annual, and supplemental evaluations, as needed. Evaluations and services are in-person only at our facility. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm45 week position, 7 weeks paid vacation built into school year.45 week term includes 6 week summer program (typically 1st week of July to 2nd week of August)Occasional evenings may be required. 4410 preschool experience a major plus! Bilingual English/Spanish preferred! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide counseling and parent training to ACDS preschool community.Provide support to parents and follow through with outreach efforts.Actively participate in IDT meetings and ensure follow up for all issues.Maintain consistent communication with administrative, educational, and clinical teams.Assist behavioral coordinator and center-based staff in identifying student needs and appropriate interventions.Facilitate and model interventions for classroom and clinical staff.Provide reliable follow-up and feedback.Coordinate information and construct reports to reflect data trends.Assist with constructing FBA/BIP, implementation and monitoring, as needed.Collect Information and report on Social History of student.Write counseling progress reports and annuals to reflect the strengths and needs of students.Meet compliance deadlines.Participate in IEP meetings as needed.Maintain list(s)/schedule of available community resources and supports.Actively seek out new resources to meet program needs.Qualifications:Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred!Valid New York State Certificate as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.Excellent organizational skills.Superb interpersonal skills.Strong writing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits of working with ACDS WestchesterAn opportunity to make a positive difference within the Westchester community.Competitive Salary, PTO, and access to benefits package upon completing probationary period.Working with the support of a highly experienced team in an exceptional facility.An established program with a friendly and dynamic working environment.
