Our full-day, center-based special needs preschool program supports children ages 3–5 with developmental delays and disabilities. Through a combination of early childhood education and therapeutic services — including occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and family counseling — we empower children and families to reach their fullest potential in a nurturing, supportive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate, NYS-licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with pediatric experience to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team of professionals. This is a full-time, onsite position — with no travel required — following a 45-week school calendar, including Extended School Year (ESY) services in the summer. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM Your Role as an Occupational Therapist As part of our dedicated clinical team, you will provide therapeutic services to young learners with a wide range of developmental needs. Using evidence-based strategies such as sensory integration, visual-motor techniques, and adaptive equipment, you’ll help children develop key functional skills in: Fine and gross motor coordination Visual-perceptual processing Self-help and daily living activities You’ll also contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborate with fellow clinicians and educators, and support children and families in achieving measurable, meaningful progress. Key Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP Develop and implement treatment plans based on individualized goals Maintain timely and accurate documentation (session notes, progress reports, annual reviews) Collaborate closely with classroom staff, speech therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and family members Participate in team meetings and contribute to a coordinated care approach Uphold professional, ethical, and regulatory standards as outlined by NY State and your licensing board What We’re Looking For Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Registered NPI number Pediatric experience preferred — strong new graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply A compassionate, collaborative clinician who thrives in a team-centered, child-focused environment Why Join ACDS Scarsdale?
