Physical Therapist position available in our Pre School program located in Wappingers Falls, NY, offering the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team focusing on the educational programming for all children at every level of ability. Positions are 48 weeks per year, School Calendar which includes a 6-week summer program. Physical Therapists' duties include but are not limited to:Evaluates those students on assigned caseload and determines appropriate program goals (both long and short term).Evaluates new referrals to determine need for service/appropriate level of service.Provides direct treatment to students on assigned caseload.Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.Licensed with N.Y.S. Department of Education.Clean driver’s license that is deemed “acceptable” by our insurance carrier.Handle with Care, CPR, SFA, and Med Certification a plus. Ability to obtain these certifications required.Background check by NYS OPWDD required.Lifting and maneuvering of individuals is required.
