Conducts surveys of agency operation in relation to applying standardized accounting operations; Participates in feasibility studies and makes recommendations; Organizes files and designs report formats; Documents procedures for use of accounting methods; Instructs agency staff in standardized operations and provides technical guidance in the applications; Confers with staff members of other agencies and departments relative to accounting operations; Coordinates accounting operation matters with representatives of other departmental agencies May prepare forecasting reports based on analysis of financial statements; Maintains and updates financial records through electronic data processing system. Successful candidate will possess one year of experience in Financial Analysis; good knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of accounting operations; working knowledge of the application and methods of statistical analysis; working knowledge of electronic data processing; ability to conduct studies and surveys and to make recommendations for improvements; ability to gain the cooperation of others; ability to prepare narrative and tabular reports; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; initiative; resourcefulness; good judgment; tact; courtesy;
