The Wynantskill UFSD is looking for a part-time biology teacher to offer an accelerated Life Science Course to our 8th-grade students. We are seeking a certified 7-12 Biology teacher who is engaging and has a love for teaching and learning. Our small pre-K through 8th-grade school district is eager to provide our students with rich and meaningful experiences that will ensure their success as they enter our partnering high school programs. This part-time position will consist of teaching one or two biology classes per day and teaching the labs as well. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work, however, if you are someone who is looking for more than a .2 or .3 FTE, our small district may have additional opportunities for you. Such opportunities may include teaching additional classes and/or completing administrative duties in supervision and curriculum should the candidate have experience or hold an administrative degree in those areas.Job QualificationsMinimum QualificationsPending or Valid NYS Teacher Certification: Biology 7-12
