POSITION: Boys Wrestling Head Coach LOCATION: Watervliet Jr/Sr High School START DATE: November 16, 2026 SALARY: $8478.00 per contract Job Description: Organize and manage all levels of the program, including scheduling, ordering of equipment, and management of coaches, in conjunction with administration. Coordinating tryouts, practice schedules, and special team events. Oversee and support the professional development of program coaches while promoting appropriate student-athlete conduct. Managing student/athlete performance athletically, academically and emotionally. Development and implementation of program goals, processes, and training programs. Handling of all clerical aspects of the program. Minimum Qualifications: Formal coaching-related experience required. Ability to communicate, take initiative, and coordinate multiple levels. Possess leadership skills and the ability to display sporting success. Completion of WCSD safety training and knowledge of Code of Conduct expectations. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds. Ability to demonstrate job expectations.
