POSITION: Substitute Assistant Principal LOCATION: Watervliet Elementary SchoolSTART DATE: October 10, 2025 – December 19, 2025SALARY: $300.00 - $500.00 per diemJob Description:The Substitute Assistant Principal is expected to provide short-term support to the building principal and the elementary school community. This position, which reports to the building principal, will help supervise and evaluate staff and programs at the elementary level. The Substitute Assistant Principal will work with the administrative team to support staff in implementing behavioral expectations and/or conducting staff observations. Minimum Qualifications:1. New York State SAS, SBL, SDA, or SDL administrative certification is required.2. NYS valid Lead Evaluator certification required.3. Strong knowledge of the Next Generation Learning Standards.4. Ability to work with students/staff in diverse social/cultural backgrounds.5. Leadership experience.6.
