Assist the teacher in ensuring a safe and supportive educational environment in a full-day special class for kindergarten through second-grade students. 2. Support students with disabilities individual needs, specific to functional communication skills, academics, and daily living skills.3. Work closely with the cooperating teacher and school team to ensure the students receive the appropriate services, modifications, and accommodations throughout the school day. 4. Supervise and support students, as needed.Minimum Qualifications:1. Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification is required. 2. Appointment subject to fingerprint clearance.3.
