POSITION: Teaching Assistant LOCATION: Watervliet Elementary School START DATE: ASAPSALARY: $18.11 per hour - per WSSA contract Job Description: 1. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.2. Work closely with the teachers of the English Language Learners and school team to ensure the students receive the appropriate services, modifications, and accommodations throughout the school day. 3. Collaborate and assist the teacher to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment. 4. Familiarity with Restorative Practices.Minimum Qualifications:1. Current NYS TA Certification required.2. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.3. Ability to demonstrate job expectations.4.
