The Watertown City School District has an opening for a tenure-track Director of Student Empowerment and Success.The Director of Student Empowerment and Success is responsible for the development, coordination, administration, and evaluation of all gifted and talented and special education services and staff of the Watertown City School District to ensure that students are provided educational services of the highest quality. The Director of Student Empowerment's essentials functions include administrative oversight, instructional leadership, special education and gifted and talented direction, and the supervision and evaluation of teachers, licensed professionals, and paraprofessionals. The preferred candidate will have teaching and/or administrative experience. Candidates must be currently certified in New York State (SDL).
