The Wantagh School District has an anticipated vacancy for a special education teacher at Wantagh High School. The successful candidate must be driven, flexible and adaptable, as teaching responsibilities may include leading instruction for our students in special class (15:1:1) environments and/or Integrated Co-Teaching environments. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess the following:Knowledge and experience practicing differentiated instruction at all levels of academic abilityAbility to provide a learning environment that supports the social-emotional well-being of all students and challenge them to work to the best of their ability.
