The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, demonstrating expertise in early literacy, math instruction, social-emotional learning, and data-driven decision-making.This leader will foster a positive school climate, support professional development for teachers, and inspire a love for learning in students.Key Responsibilities:Provide visionary leadership for all aspects of the elementary school program, ensuring academic success and well-being for all students.Promote and implement research-based strategies in literacy and early literacy, ensuring that students achieve essential reading and writing skills.Champion effective math instruction, utilizing data to tailor instruction and intervention to meet students’ individual needs.Support social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives to foster student wellness, emotional health, and positive relationships.Lead a culture of data-driven instruction to guide instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement differentiated instruction and targeted interventions to address diverse learning needs.Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and engaging school culture that supports high expectations for student behavior, achievement, and growth.Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff, ensuring continuous growth and instructional effectiveness.Qualifications:New York State School Building Leader (SBL) or equivalent certification.A minimum of three years of experience in elementary school administration or leadership; elementary classroom teaching experience preferred.Demonstrated expertise in literacy and early literacy instruction, math education, and social-emotional learning.Strong background in utilizing data-driven practices to inform instructional decisions and improve student achievement.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Passion for creating an equitable and engaging learning environment for all students.Why Join Us?A supportive and collaborative district that values innovation in education.Opportunity to lead a committed and talented team of educators.Competitive salary and benefits package.A community that prioritizes student success and engagement.Application Process:To apply, please submit your resume, personalized cover letter, and three professional references via OLAS by February 16, 2025.
