Whitesboro Central School District is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Academic Support Teacher beginning on or about 8/29/24 through 6/30/25.Qualifications:New York State Certification Childhood Education B-2, 1-6.NYS Certification or Master's Degree in Reading preferred.Minimum 5 years teaching experience preferably at the primary level.Strong knowledge base and experience with Fundations, Heggerty, and Into Reading.Attend additional early literacy professional development and become a turn-key trainer for the District.Ability to diagnose learning gaps and determine strategies and interventions for students.Analyze student data and create action plans to meet the needs of students.Present and share data with instructional staff, administration, and the Board of Education.Plan and work collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure student improvement.Provide resources and Tier 1 and 2 strategies to teachers and students.Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues.Any other duties assigned by building principals.Interested candidates must apply through OLAS.
